Connaissances intuitives et jeux video : la puissance de Portal dans l'apprentissage de la physique

Résumé

Au cours des vingt dernières années, de nombreuses recherches ont été développées dans le domaine des jeux numériques en tant que ressource pour l'apprentissage de la physique. Cependant, la recherche bien encadrée théoriquement dans ce domaine est encore rare. Ce travail déploie l'analyse d'interviews d'étudiants-ingénieurs de première année peu après avoir joué à Portal. L'analyse des données à travers la théorie des connaissances en morceaux (diSessa, 1993) permet de décrire les connaissances intuitives exprimées par les élèves lorsqu'ils tentent de raconter l'expérience avec le jeu. Le présent rapport vise à fournir des preuves concernant la relation entre l'apprentissage de la physique et l'utilisation des jeux vidéo.
